Multiverse

The "Multiverse" is the totality of reality of the Phineas and Ferb series, containing all the Dimensions seen throught the show. It was frequently mentioned several times, and implied as well, but it was confirmed and slightly explored in "Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension".

Nature of The Multiverse

Although they are frequently referred to as "other dimensions", the "dimensions" of Phineas and Ferb in no way resemble real life theoretical dimensions. In real life, what defines a higher or lower dimension is the amount of directions in which one may travel in them. Phineas and Ferb live in the 1st dimension, being able to travel sideways, backwards and forwards, and up and down. Other dimensions in the series always have the same amount of directions, and are therefore also in the first dimension. They are, instead, separate universes to themselves, but as Baljeet showed in Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension, they are connected by a stream of energy. Phineas and Ferb therefore live in a "multiverse".

Physics of The Multiverse

Until the TV movie, Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension, premiered, not much was known about the actual workings of the Phineas and Ferb multiverse. In the film, 2nd dimension Baljeet gives a lecture on how one travels through the multiverse: It appears as though the "dimensions" are connected.

There is a clockwise energy flow which connects each of the "dimensions". To travel into an alternate dimension, one must create a portal which gives an access to this flow of energy. Since the energy flows in a clockwise direction, accessing the previous dimension would require traveling against the natural flow of energy.

Baljeet explains that while this is possible, it would require an enormous amount of energy to travel in such a way. Initially, they do indeed open such a portal, however, it is unstable, and it closes soon after Candace goes through it, believing it to be the mysterious force.

Later on, Phineas and the rest are able to access their own dimension by traveling clockwise through the entire "grid" of "dimensions" in the multiverse until they return to the 1st Dimension.

Almost all of dimensions has universal structures that are the same or near the same that the first dimension (have an Earth other celestial bodies). Some of then have indigenous species that are different of the ones that exist in the first dimension, but they aren't aliens in the normal sense, as all the portals led to the same location in the next dimension, being in fact just alternate animal species.

5	This is the dimension that has a Baby alien who is bigger than Phineas and Ferb. It first appeared in "It's a Mud, Mud, Mud, Mud World".
6	In this dimension the universe is apparently smaller than the canonical dimension. It first appeared in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension.
7	In this universe, a parallel version of Candace, known as Kevin, is a powerful politic figure, and wins some type of elections. Also,  the mankind shares the world with some sentient creatures, like zebras and Big eye-like creatures. It first appeared in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension.
8	This dimension is one that has Giant Floating Baby Heads, most of the heads being bigger than Phineas and Ferb. It first appeared in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension.
9	In this dimension the universe is apparently bigger, like the 5th dimension. In this dimension, a young couple are seen having a date, and they are bigger than Phineas and Ferb. It first appeared in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension.
10	This dimension is home of some type of dressed bird with a large tentacled hat they use as whips. It first appeared in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension.
11	In this dimension the laws of physics are different, as it is seen that the characters are deformed when crossing it. It first appeared in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension.
12	This dimension has some sort of spinning kaleodiscopic vortex that continuously changes color. It first appeared in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension
13	This dimension has cubic shapes that enlight themselves when are stepped. It first appeared in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension
14	This dimension is home of sessile life beings that resembles body parts. It first appeared in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension.
15	This dimension has large and crooked structures. It first appeared in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension.
16	This dimension is one that has human hillbillies which are drawn in a crude art style, different than Phineas and Ferb. It first appeared in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension.
17	In this dimension is at least some kind of purple vortex. It first appeared in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension.
18	In this dimension, some type of artificial structures has been built. It first appeared in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension.
19	This dimension is inhabited by some kind of intelligent zebra, like Kevin. It first appeared in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension.
20	This dimension is a dark and lifeless place. It first appeared in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension.
21	This dimension is home of some giant bunny-like creature. It first appeared in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension.
22	This dimension is full of candy canes. It first appeared in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension.
23	This dimension is home of a giant kind of big eye- creature. It first appeared in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension.
24	in this dimension the physic laws are different, as large life forms with jaws and eyes make the space itself. It first appeared in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension.
Unidentified	An unidentified dimension is was red and had cyclopean flying creatures. It first appeared in "Isabella and the Temple of Sap".
Lost in Danville Dimension	Is the dimension where the episode, "Lost in Danville", takes place
City Outside the Universe	Is a place which exists outside the flow of time. It first appeared in "Last Day of Summer".
