Agent P's World Showcase Adventure

Agent P's World Showcase Adventure (Full name: Disney Phineas and Ferb Agent P's World Showcase Adventure) was an interactive attraction at the World Showcase at Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort which had its soft opening on June 15, 2012, and official opening June 23 of that same year, replacing a similar Kim Possible-themed overlay.

Guests who registered at one of five locations within Epcot used a F.O.N.E. - or Field Operative Notification Equipment - supplied by sponsor AT&T in 2014 (though the F.O.N.E. was later replaced by the Play Disney Parks smartphone app), to become agents of O.W.C.A. and help Perry the Platypus defeat Dr. Doofenshmirtz through seven country pavilions represented in the World Showcase area - Mexico, France, Germany, Norway, United Kingdom, Japan and China - getting clues on their devices for each case, and also scouring for evil inators. Each showcase country features Phineas and Ferb on vacation with their family and Perry (in his mindless pet mode) being held up because of one of their ideas.

On December 3, 2019, it was announced that a DuckTales-themed experience will be replacing the Agent P theme sometime in the future.^[1] The attraction officially closed on February 16, 2020.

Plot[]

Japan[]

Mission: Robo Rumpus
Dr. Doofenshmirtz created a giant robot to terrorize the populace of Japan, but it was too slow, so he made the Babyinator to transform people into toddlers so they'll be too slow to outrun his robot. Meanwhile, Phineas and Ferb attempt sumo wrestling. After locating Doofenshmirtz, Agent P arrives on the scene and manages to change the direction of the inator's beam, hitting the robot with it and turning it into a baby.

Mexico[]

Mission: Hair Trigger
Dr. Doofenshmirtz created the Flashbackinator in order to reveal the embarassing past hairstyles of everyone in the entire Mexican tri-state area as payback for when customs agents mocked his hair. Meanwhile, Phineas and Ferb build a dehumidifier to prevent their mom's hair from messing. After retargeting the inator, it hits Doofenshmirtz and a nearby volcano, causing it to erupt and trap the machine.

Norway[]

Mission: The Biking Viking
Dr. Doofenshmirtz created the Sinkinator to sink the ships of Viking reenactors at the Norwegian Living History Festival to get back his bicycle that was stolen by his old neighbor, Oleg. Meanwhile, Phineas and Ferb build a ski jump for the festival. Doofenshmirtz tries to use the ski jump as a method of infiltration, but he crashes after the signal from the viking artifact detector is relayed, with the inator misfiring on the boys' ramp.

Germany[]

Mission: Vote Doofenshmirtz
Dr. Doofenshmirtz created the Landslideinator to send a landslide on top of every person in the German tri-state area who supports his opponent on the election for town mayor so he can win it and show his parents that he is capable of achieving something. Meanwhile, Phineas and Ferb build a castle moat for Candace. After Agent P destroys the inator, Doofenshmirtz is trapped with bumper sticker adhesive.

China[]

Mission: Soldier of Misfortune
Dr. Doofenshmirtz created the DePandainator to transform the tri-province area's pandas into monochromatic bears as revenge for having received a misleading prediction from a fortune cookie. Meanwhile, Phineas and Ferb build a fireworks display with the help of Isabella and the Fireside Girls for a fireworks show. After freeing Perry from his cat carrier, the inator's power source is disabled.

United Kingdom[]

Mission: Teed Off
Dr. Doofenshmirtz created the Precipitator-inator to wash away his opponents on a torrential rain to win the Evil Scientist Celebrity Pro-Am Golf Tournament. Meanwhile, Phineas and Ferb build a challenging golf course with the help of Baljeet for the tournament. After tapping into the inator's controls, it floods Doofenshmirtz's lair.

France[]

Mission: Accent on the Evil
Dr. Doofenshmirtz created the De-Accentinator to remove everyone's French accent so he can understand the flight ticketing agent, Renee, and ask her out on a date. Meanwhile, Phineas and Ferb build a statue of Candace with the help of Buford for an art exhibition. After busting Perry out of his carrier, he chases Doofenshmirtz, who is captured by dropping from the skylight, following with his date getting cancelled.

Background Information[]

To promote the attraction, a mystery pin set was released on January 3, 2013^[2], featuring pins of each location's mission and of Agent P in France, Germany and China. It was originally planned to be released in December 2012.^[3]
The Evil Jingle used in the Mexican Pavilion (Doofenshmirtz Mal Incorporado!) is different from the one used in the Latin American Spanish dub of the show (Doofenshmirtz Malvados y Asociados!).
After the attraction’s closure, one of the Doofenshimirtz statues ended up in the possession of Dan Povenmire.
