The Dad-inator was a cardmaking activity based on Phineas and Ferb, developed by Curious Media for the Disney website in June 2010. It allowed users to create animated electronic greeting cards for Father's Day. The Disney Channel version was redirected to its main page prior to Father's Day 2012, while the Disney XD mirror was deflected to its homepage before Father's Day 2013.
Visitors first selected a theme for the card, which featured the following characters: Phineas and Ferb, Vanessa, Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Agent P, and Isabella. Every motif was accompanied by a new song, with each of the characters taking part. The tune could be heard by moving the mouse over the character(s).
The second step involved entering the visitor's first name, selecting a greeting for their father and his e-mail address. There were variations for the salutation such as "Pops", "Grandpa", "Step-dad", and "Brother", thereby enabling people of any age to send a card to a relative that is a father.
Finally, the card could be customized by placing different objects on the scenery. Once finished, it could be viewed to see the characters move about the setting and to hear the song again. Clicking "Send Now" would send the designated e-mail to the address provided in step 2.
The third step also included a Print function, which opened a PDF file containing a pre-designed version of the theme that was selected. Four designs were available.

Notes[]
- Since computer viruses and other malware could be sent by clicking on links sent in e-mail, the recipient should have been told that the card was meant to be sent.
- At the bottom of the e-mail that was sent, there was a notice about unsubscribing to e-mail from Disney Channel. This might have indicated that sending the card also added that e-mail address to other Disney Channel communications.
- Downloadable stamp samples found in the pastime can be seen in the succeeding links: Phineas and Ferb; Vanessa; Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Agent P; Isabella.
- The printable cards featured a songwriting credit for the original songs in the copyright notice: "Songs by Martin Olson". The songs were collectively registered under the title "Father's Day Cards Songs" as BMI Work #12029718, later attributed to "Isabella's Song".
- Phineas and Ferb's card had the backyard as the background.
- Vanessa's card had Mount Rushmore as the background in 2010, and the stage from "The Baljeatles" in 2011.
- Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Agent P's card had Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated as the background.
- Isabella's card had the backyard beach as the background in 2010, and the campground in 2011.
- Katie's sash is not fully colored in.
