Find Perry is a hidden object game based on Phineas and Ferb, released in July 2012 as part of the promotion for "Where's Perry?".

Plot[]

Major Monogram informs Perry that Doofenshmirtz is attacking the population of Danville with a Photomosaic-inator, which is turning people into photographic mosaics. The major orders Agent P to put a stop to the doctor's havoc, but the agent is affected by the invention before he can do anything. Out of options, Monogram enlists the help of the player to solve the puzzles and save everyone.

Gameplay[]

There are ten missions. In each of them, the player is given a set of items they have to locate inside a mosaic-fied character within a time limit. A stage only starts once the "zoom" button is pressed, giving a closer view of its subject. With the mouse, the player can navigate the body and click on objects to collect them, earning more time for each correct one. A wrong choice causes a loss of time. If an object is being difficult to find, the "Perry" button can be selected to get a hint; collecting Perrys allows more clues to use. Beating the first level unlocks the next mission and a harder level. Two extra modes of every stage can be played to obtain an inator for the collection.

Background Information[]

  • The game was originally intended to be released on July 6, 2012 along with the "Where's Perry?" area on Disney.com,[1] but both were delayed a few days for unknown reasons.[2]
  • While the game instructs the player to select the zoom button to begin a level, the screen can also be clicked to start.
  • A specific level of a mission cannot be selected from the puzzle menu, as the level loaded is the next one the player has to beat. If all three have been played, the mission goes back to level one.
  • In the collection menu, the Slave-inator is misspelled as "Slav-inator", the Misbehave-inator is misspelled as "Misbehav-inator", and the Read My Mind and Bum Bum inators are spelled without spacing in between the words.
  • Considering that Doofenshmirtz has a mission, it can be assumed that he ended up hitting himself with his invention.
  • When the player unlocks one of the first nine inators for the collection, a message appears stating that "the Photomosaic-inator is in another puzzle". This is a reference to a quote from Toad in Super Mario Bros., "Our princess is in another castle".
