Lulu "Busting" Jones is the television host for the show Bust 'Em.

History

Lulu is a very high-strung woman, mentally scarred by her childhood because she could never convince her mother that her brothers were "scratching the records and breaking the plates". She relates with Candace Flynn in this way, but has no idea what the latter's brothers are capable of. Lulu is stunned when she sees that Phineas and Ferb have built an elaborate waterslide, immediately becoming obsessively determined to bust the boys and cheering that if she succeeded, she would have Bust 'Em renewed for a second season. Lulu revealed this episode would help her show because her staff and show cast members are facing termination for not getting gross ratings from viewers.

Lulu has Candace wear a secret camera while riding her brothers' waterslide. However, the plan initially fails when Phineas takes the camera off Candace in order to avoid getting it wet. Lulu disguises a second camera as a hat, successfully getting filming of the ride from Candace's point of view. Candace then calls her mother, Linda, while Lulu calls her Station Manager. However a twister destroys the waterslide and when the Station Manager arrives, he sees nothing and refuses to believe Lulu and Candace. Lulu remembers she has the footage in her Bust 'Em van, only to realize it has been stolen. After this incident, a despondent Lulu and Candace eat some of Linda's homemade pie together.

Whenever Lulu fails, she gets more upset than Candace as unlike her, Lulu never overcame her obsession with busting her brothers as she matured. Since her attempt at busting Phineas and Ferb failed, it is presumed that Bust 'Em was canceled and Lulu was fired since she and the show have not appeared since.
