Floyd is a monkey. His name was revealed in the character commentary for Attack of the 50 Foot Sister. He shows in the opening titles when Phineas and Ferb give him a shower: the fifth thing that Phineas and Ferb do in the theme song. He appears for the first time in an episode during Swiss Family Phineas when Phineas builds a tree house and Candace asks Phineas and Ferb why they are giving the monkey a shower.
