Rover is a robot dog built by Phineas and Ferb to tick off an item of their principal summer break to-do list.

Biography[]

Isabella walks into the backyard in her prying spirit, committed to her goal of spending time alone with her person of interest. Greeting the boys, she takes notice of their project for the day, a sizeable mechanized canine which is amidst a rigging out procedure as they speak. Facing her limerence shyness, the scout brings up the possibility of Phineas accompanying her to the premiere of a movie installment in their preferred fantasy franchise, an offer accepted by him on the condition of finalizing the robotic paragon first.

Personality[]

Rover is energetic and playful. His inner programming conditions him to display traits of a regular dog, replicating such behaviors as floor digging, treat munching, and rambunctious sprinting.

Background Information[]

  • Rover's name, coined by Ferb, is a nod to one of the traditional generic designations for domestic pups, alongside the likes of Fido and Spot.
  • When Phineas presents the giant robot dog to Isabella, Baljeet remarks mindfully on it corresponding to the title sequence. Speaking of which, Buford expresses his preference for bathing a monkey.
