Phineas and Ferb Wiki

(Originally My Blog Post. And Don't Worry, This is Not A Complaint that Phineas and Ferb is Ending and I've Given Up on Trying to Save the Show. Some new text is added. I'm also posting this to try something I've never tried before when posting in the forum, because  I've been having trouble posting threads and then finding them.)

Well ladies and gentlemen, P&F fans of all ages, I just watched the final episode of Phineas and Ferb, Last Day of Summer on  Saturday. This episode wasn't everything I expected it to be but it was a good episode.

But now, Phineas and Ferb are over and done for sure. The end of the line and the end of an era. I was a little emotional about it, though I know it's just a cartoon. But hey, Phineas and Ferb had a really great end. I like how Phineas waved goodbye during to the audience before closing the door.

I'm gonna miss the Phineas and Ferb era. Although this was one of the best cartoons to ever be made, I'll admit it wasn't my favorite cartoon ever (Fairly Odd Parents and Arthur are, and they're still in production, well at least Fairly Odd Parnets is, I don't know about Arthur, the longest running kids animated show ever and second longest behind the Simpsons, and I don't know if a Season 20 is coming for Arthur, but I was told a tenth season for Fairly Odd Parents is coming.)

But Phineas and Ferb, nonetheless, was a great show. A great show about two stepbrothers, that were very smart, very genious, accomplished a lot of stuff. And almost nothing stood in their way.

What my favorite inventions were, I don't know yet. I also don't have a known favorite episode right now, well, except maybe "Out to Launch," I love the way Phineas and Ferb dressed when they were in the milkshake bar, and thanks to Netflix I was able to add screengrabs of that to the page.

One thing I liked about the show were the two boys themselves, especially Phineas. He had a very cheerful disposition, almost always seemed happy, was serious at times though, and rarely got angry, ugh! Phineas though always looked better from the side rather than from the front, he always looked weird that way, no offense Phineas.

Another thing I liked about the show was that Phineas was American and Ferb was British. Well I don't know why I like that, I just do, and I'm glad Ferb has spoken instead of being a completely silent character.

I like that I finally saw Phineas and Ferb as grown-ups, or teenagers instead of just as kids.

I also like the way the characters, and not just Phineas and Ferb, but the characters in general, even background characters, were designed.

Oh, and I liked the songs in the episodes, and Phineas and Ferb singing. I have to say, when I first read that Ferb could sing Raegae, I thought of him being a rapper. And I even imagined Phineas and Ferb performing that Gym Class Heros song "Cupid's Chokehold/ Breakfast in America" with Ferb doing the rap and Phineas doing the chorus. But now no need to fantasize much anymore, except for the Gym Class Heros song, because Ferb actually did rap in at least one episode. I also pictured Ferb doing other songs, including at least one by Shabba Ranks ("Mr. Lover Man") And I have to say, Phineas and Ferb are great singers! I also imagine two other characters from another cartoon performing that same G.C.H. song.

I also liked Baljeet and Buford, although why Buford always picked on Baljeet I'll never know.

Another favorite character was Carl the unpaid intern. I really loved him. One thing I really like about him is when his voice squeaks! I like Major Monogram too but he wasn't all too nice, but did care about the safety of the Tri-City area. Now if only he'd been nicer to Carl, who does seem to like him, I mean he told Minor Monogram to have his father disown him so he (Carl) could be adopted. And I liked imagining Monogram adopting Carl as his adoptive son.

There are other things I liked about the show.

There were some things I didn't like about the show.

-One, some characters were shown sitting on the toilet (personally I hate seeing people sit on the toilet, even cartoon characters. I wouldn't have minded if some male characters were shown going to the bathroom standing up, other cartoons (besides the Simpsons, King of the Hill, Family Guy, Futurama and Such) have shown that, like Hey Arnold, Rugrats, Recess, Fairly Odd Parents, What's With Andy, Two Stupid Dogs, the Spongebob Movie, The Looney Tunes Show, even Arthur (I was told about that, I never saw that and never will because I don't celebrate Christmas or have any part in it) (Sorry if this sounded inappropriate or offended anyone, I'll remove this if asked.)

-Another thing I didn't like was that the drawbridges, at least the one in the episode where Phineas, Ferb, Baljeet, Buford, and the Fireside Girls were in that Bubble, didn't have crossing gates on them. Some cartoons feature them, some don't.

-Candice saying "MOOOOM! Phineas and Ferb are making a title sequence!" So? Leave your brothers alone Candice! I mean at first it wasn't a big deal but after seeing it so many times, I just wanted to tell Candice to leave her brothers alone.

I think there were other things I didn't like about the show, but I cannot think of anymore. But Phineas and Ferb was generally a great show, one of the best cartoons to be made and kudos to Dan and Swampy for making such a great cartoon. And there is one thing I wish I could have seen on Phineas and Ferb (I won't say it, you guys already know what it is.)

You know, I would like for this show to continue, but you know what, I think this cartoon should stop while it was ahead. Despite my signing that silly petition, https://www.change.org/p/disney-abc-revive-phineas-and-ferb?tk=zyEQyF2pww7hVeS4P74p-qez08lfKtVa_NVc-KCAFpg&utm_medium=email&utm_source=signature_receipt&utm_campaign=new_signature I'd rather this show ended well then continue only to stink. I mean to be honest, I didn't like Kim Possible Season 4, I liked Seasons 1-3 better and the movie "So The Drama." And at first I didn't like the Fairly Odd Parents episodes with Poof in them (and I STILL hate Fairly Odd Baby), but a few years later it grew on me and I love Poof, he's now my second favorite character in the show (Timmy being number 1) And I don't care if this show never continues. I'll miss it, but I'll get over it.

Though Phineas and Ferb are done and will probably never appear again (unless they make guest appearances on Dan and Swampy's new show,) Phineas and Ferb will live on in my heart, and probably yours too.

And if there's anything we want Phineas and Ferb to do, we;ll just have to write fanfiction about it or do fanart of it, and I plan to make some Phineas and Ferb fanart and post it on http://willm3luvtrains.deviantart.com (my Deviant Art Profile) and you can find lots of Phineas and Ferb art there, some of which I have favorited.

Speaking of Phineas and Ferb art: like how I modified Phineas Flynn?<

Phineas Flynn in White Shirt and Blue Jeans

Phineas Flynn wearing a white shirt and long blue pants.

I like seeing male cartoon characters wearing a white T shirt and blue jeans or other blue pants. Beige khakis and other colored pants are great too but blue jeans go best with white shirts. It's not a legit picture I admit, at least of Phineas' pants, but just an experiment I thought I'd try.

Anyway, Phineas and Ferb was also kind of similar to Kim Possible in a lot of ways, at least to me and possibly a few others: An older teenage sister (that being Candace) with two younger brothers (Phineas and Ferb of course) that get under her skin, and brothers that can make stuff. And unlike Jim and Tim (who look better than Phineas and Ferb, at least until season 4,) they're inventions didn't cause trouble, but kept disappearing. And, well the only thing I can compare between Ron Stoppable and Jeremy Johnson, they're blonds, but Jeremy is more mature than Ron ever was.

I think Perry the Platypus, who never talked, can be compared to Rufus the naked mole rat. Though completely different animals, they both did help in stopping crime, although unlike Rufus, Perry worked alone and without humans tagging along. And Dr. Doofenshmirtz ( I need a spelling test just for this name) and Dr. Drakken were alike in some ways, they're both mad scientists and they almost sounded the same in voice, but Doofenshmirtz was more normal skinned than Drakken, who was blue. And Doofenshmirtz never had an assistant whereas Drakken had Shego, unless you count Norm, who's a robot.

And can Wade Load and Major Monogram be compared? I mean Wade was a 10-year-old Super-Genious, and Monogram, is well, middle age if not old. But they both briefed their crime stoppers, Wade with Kim Possible and Monogram with Perry. Plus Wade didn't have an unpaid intern, although with him being as smart as he is, could he have? Nah! He's too young.

Another similarity between Jim and Tim and Phineas and Ferb, one was in red, the other was in green. The differences: Jim and Tim are not only total brothers by blood, but they're identical twins and both American. Phineas and Ferb are stepbrothers, brothers by marriage of their parents, and one is American and the other is British, but they both speak English. And Phineas and Ferb weren't as much trouble as Jim and Tim were (don't get me wrong, Jim and Tim were and still are my most favorite characters on Kim Possible)

And also, Candace wasn't as mature as Kim Possible, but they both had red hair.

Phineas and Ferb are also somewhat similar to Drake and Josh, Drake and Josh (the characters with the same first names as their actors) were stepbrothers too, and like Phineas, the brother with the mother also had a sister (except younger, and a nick show, not a Disney show, and it was live-action, not animated.)

Well, I don't have anymore to say right now. But though this wasn't my number 1 favorite cartoon, this was a great cartoon, one of the best cartoons ever to be made and a lot of great ideas were put into this. I couldn't have done this cartoon any better or else this show would have only had one season and the ratings would have been super low.

All I can say now in closing is "So Long Phineas and Ferb. You've been great and I'll miss you and I'll always remember you."

And thank you Dan and Swampy for making such a great and amazing animated show! Good job both of you! And have fun (my way of saying "Good Luck," only I don't believe in luck but still care) with your new cartoon.
