"In order to help Baljeet with his decision-making crisis, we've built the Infinite Probability Generator. Once Baljeet's been through the machine's Infinite Imprinter, he'll be fundamentally altered at the probable level."
Phineas[src]

The Infinite Probability Generator is a probability generator built by Phineas and Ferb to help Baljeet with his indecision dilemma.

History[]

Baljeet approaches Phineas, Ferb, and Buford to converse about his recent indecision problem. Interested, Phineas questions the source of the issue, which is stated to be difficult decisions in admission forms. Elaborating on this, Baljeet explains that he had realized the importance of evaluating repercussions, becoming paranoid on taking the right opportunities. To ease his friends' understanding, he showcases a presentation of his regarding probability, giving the boys an idea for a solution to the conundrum.

As the kids are completing their machine, Isabella shows up. Phineas clarifies the project to her, signaling for the device's activation to demonstrate it. Following the operation, the group heads out to test Baljeet's new capabilities via the ice cream guy. Upon being faced with a choice of flavor, he splits in two to experience the two options, confirming the machine's functionality. Seizing his powers, he comes over to the Flynn-Fletcher kitchen, where he gets to taste all the available juice by Linda's oblivious courtesy.

An assembly of Baljeets soon agree to overthrow Buford. Meanwhile, Candace, who had been observing the kids the entire time, attempts to show their creation to her mother with the juice, to no avail. Revolting against their bully, the Baljeet clones capture Buford, to everyone else's concern. The herd almost hurt their enemy, but a boomerang from afar destroys the generator before they can do so, reverting Baljeet into one entity just as Linda enters the backyard ("Primal Perry").

Design[]

The Infinitite Probability Generator is a hollow spherical device comprised of three hoops colored after the primary hues. Revolving around a central grey chamber, the machine is supported by two grey masts with round parts atop them, both of which interconnect the device's pieces.

Mechanics[]

The Infinite Probability Generator is a probability manipulator based on the theoretical timeline emergence from multiple choice paradigms, in that each outcome of a decision births a flux of events where it occurs. Using this concept, the device alters the user's probable levels through the use of the Infinite Imprinter, enabling them to live through every result of an option to determine which is the best.

Background Information[]

  • The decision that leads to Baljeet's issue is a choice between loop and string theory, two popular physics frameworks that attempt to unify the Standard Model with the gravitational force.
  • Giving an example of decision-making to his friends, Baljeet poses two possible outcomes depending on a chosen ice cream flavor; he is destined to be the President if he takes vanilla, and is going to be hit by a bus upon taking strawberry. In the test for the generator, the latter does happen to the Baljeet that picks strawberry, affirming the thought experiment.
  • Initially, the generator's user feels nausea, which then turns into an effervescent and frothy feeling, as described by Baljeet.
  • According to Phineas, the proper name for the clones is "probability beings".
  • The choices taken by Baljeet whilst with his acquired abilities are:
    • Between vanilla and strawberry ice cream.
    • Between grape, orange, pineapple, mango, and tomato juice.
    • Between grapes and a chocolate bar.
  • Despite the appearance of multiple Baljeets being an odd phenomenon, it is dismissed three times:
    • Mike, the ice cream guy, jokes about it by offering the banana split flavor.
    • Linda disregards it as Baljeet being thirsty.
    • Lawrence ignores the Baljeet assembly under the premise of it being a party.
  • Candace's attempt at showing Baljeet's powers to her mother fails due to him not being indecisive at that particular moment.
  • As stated by Phineas, the rebelling of the Baljeets is a byproduct of mob mentality, a state of mind wherein actions are influenced by the collective thought.
  • Candace indicates that there are around twenty clones in total, a number compatible with what is observed near the end.
