Conan A recurring segment on the talk show hosted by Conan O'Brien is "Fan Corrections", in which O'Brien gives bizarre explanations to mistakes made on the show. On the August 1, 2011 installment of the show, a video correction was aired featuring a man wearing a Perry the Platypus T-shirt. O'Brien erroneously referred to the character on the viewer's shirt as "an Angry Bird", which led to a further correction on August 8 in which the same viewer pointed out that the character on his shirt is a platypus. Conan's excuse involved a fake security camera video in which the store owner stated that the shirt actually depicted "an Angry Bird that looks exactly like Perry the Platypus." (Musical Without a Cool Acronym) An unauthorized full-length musical parody of Phineas and Ferb and numerous Broadway musicals was performed at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in May 2019. The musical later caught the attention of the Phineas and Ferb creative team, who gave it their unofficial blessing, and was revamped as an virtual performance collaboration of the Phineas and Ferb online fan community debuting on August 20, 2021 including cameo appearances by Dan Povenmire, Jeff "Swampy" Marsh, and Vincent Martella.
