Hey Phineas & Ferb admins! I'm a member of the Community Development team. To celebrate and honor the ending of Phineas & Ferb, we wanted to do a Community Choice Awards event. We think this will be a lot of fun. I started out by contacting the bureaucrats here, and now we're looking for general admin input. If you want to be part of this conversation, you should check out this thread and reply.
We're going through the list of users with advanced rights and checking in with them. Though you did make a couple of edits a few months ago, it was actually around May that you were last active here.
We'd like to know if you're still interested in being an admin here. If so, it will help if you tell us, and help us even more if you could stop by on a more frequent basis. If we haven't heard anything from you by the end of the year, what we will probably do is drop you down a level to Rollback and Chat Moderator. After that point, you could request admin rights again, provided that you knew you could take a more active role in the wiki.
Well, it's been over two months, and I was just about to wrap this up, but the users list shows you just logged into your account yesterday. So, I'll extend this to the end of the month. If I do end up dropping your user rights, as bureaucrat, you could add them back in yourself. But it still would help to get an idea of how involved you can be during the upcoming year.
Just stopping in to see how things were going around here. I've been very busy with school. I'm working on my degree and also been working on the student newspaper at my community college. Looks like things are going well. I'm not sure that I'd be able to commit to doing a ton of work, but perhaps I could get my feet wet again. I've got a slow summer schedule and should be able to find some time to be around for the next few months.
I guess let me know where I can be useful and I'll be glad to help out when and where I can.
I just wanted to make sure you hadn't left completely. You might want to put in your profile that you are away for a while, and if you create your Message Wall Greeting, you can do the same thing there so that people know to leave messages for a different admin while you're gone.
Hey, I completely understand if this is something you're not comfortable doing, but I know you've gotten in contact with Swampy and Dan in the past and was wondering if you could possibly help me get in contact with them or pass along a message. I know the forum has a questions page for the P&F creators, but it seems rather inactive lately. I'm not sure if this wikia has a private messaging system, but it would be great if you could get in contact with me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I copied/pasted what I would like to talk to them about below, and due to its private nature you can sorta see why I'd really like to get in contact with them directly, if not through you. Thanks so much, and I appreciate everything you guys are doing on this page!
Hi Mr. Povenmire,
I have a friend who is participating in a study abroad program in Morocco this year, and she has struggled a lot with harassment and isolation over there. However one of the things that still makes her feel like she's back home and with her family is your show Phineas and Ferb, which she has very limited access to over there.
I'm not sure how plausible this is, but would it be possible to get you and some of the other cast members to sign a P&F poster to her, or something along those lines? It would really mean the world to her, and something from you guys would just be a great way of reminding her that even across the world, she still isn't as alone as she thinks she is.
I'm so sorry if this isn't the best way to contact you or if this is too much to ask, but if you could get in contact with me when you have a chance that would be phenomenal! Thanks so much!
I used a combination of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator tovery carefully cut the words out of the show's title sequence. If you are asking how to change from the text to graphic wordmark, please look at w:c:help:logo#wordmark.
Other than yesterday, it has been quite a while since you've made any edits here. So I can get an idea about how when to re-open admin nominations, please let me know how often you think you can participate in the wiki over the next 3 or 4 months. We have an average number of administrators, but not many are staying active.
What I'm looking for is just a general idea. Can you make some edits once a week? A few times a month? Or would it be longer than that?
If you can let me know by the end of the month, that will help.
I think it would be worthwhile to look for more active admins. This wiki needs to have responsible people who have the time to look after it, and I haven't been it. I might be around a bit more in the next few weeks during my break, but it will likely trail back off once I go back for my final semester.
I'll also be looking for work and hopefully I'll get a job in the next few months that will require more of my attention. There just aren't enough hours in the day for me to put in the amount of time required here to be effective.
I'll still be around once in awhile and am willing to answer questions or help solve issues. The heavy lifting of the site is just not within my bounds right now. Best wishes.
