Montgomery Monogram, better known as Monty, is Francis and Mrs. Monogram's son and has been working in O.W.C.A. after his graduation from H.S.W.C.A. (High School Without A Cool Acronym). After meeting Vanessa Doofenshmirtz, they share a mutual attraction and have gone on five dates.
Monty is the son of Major Francis Monogram. He received acrobatic classes since birth due to his father's desire to be an acrobat. He did learn about the O.W.C.A. and met some of the agents including Agent P (when they met off screen). They met before Monty's first appearance "Minor Monogram" as mentioned in the episode.
Monty recently graduated from H.S.W.C.A. He decided that he wanted to follow in his father's footsteps and fight evil. His father was slightly irritated that he didn't want to be an acrobat. However, Perry gets footage of Monty fighting an evil teenager named Rodrigo (who was attempting to destroy the Tri-State Area and kill thousands of citizens doing so, including Perry and his nemesis Heinz Doofenshmirtz), and incorporating acrobatics into his fighting, gaining his father's approval. Before he returns, he sees Heinz's daughter Vanessa, and hints at a possible attraction. ("Minor Monogram")
Monty later meets Vanessa again and they share a coffee together. They enjoy a date, although they hit a rough point over their fathers. They make up, and she gives him a card if they want to meet again. ("Sipping with the Enemy") They later go together to the Doo Wop Hop, and are nearly caught by their fathers, but Carl caught them. ("My Sweet Ride") They went to have coffee together again, then after Monty helped Carl to get more recognition from his dad, he went with Vanessa to see the Love Sandal band. ("Thanks But No Thanks") Then Vanessa invited Monty to her Halloween party at the castle her dad inherited, and they danced together. But they are almost caught by Francis Monogram ("Druselsteinoween")
Upon learning that his father was fired for a ballroom fiasco caused by a battle between the O.W.C.A. agents and the villains of L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N., Monty becomes a full-fledged agent after learning that the Earth has moved away from the Sun (thanks to Doofenshmirtz's latest -inator that did the trick). He also informs Carl that the members of L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. have captured almost all of the agents (except for Perry) after hearing about Doofenshmirtz's successful scheme and they are now led by Doofenshmirtz's maniacal and ruthless rival Rodney, who has now created an -inizor ten times the size and strength of Doof's inator that will bring about a new Ice Age.
To that end, Monty leads both Carl and Perry into infiltrating the villains' warehouse. However, they are caught by several members, but Major Monogram arrives to the rescue, having got a street rat to free the captured agents. This resulted another fight against the villains, but it happens to be very similar to the one back in the ballroom. Upon pointing out the fact, all the villains decide to flee, except for Rodney (who activates his -inizor to move the Earth further away) and Doofenshmirtz (who attempts to stop Rodney from doing so).
After reaching up to the roof of where the -inizor is standing, Monty and the others spot Doofenshmirtz trying to destroy it by using a mop as a wedge and the unconscious Rodney as fulcrum to tilt it off the roof. Without hesitation, Monty and the others help Doofenshmirtz by shoving their weight onto the mop, causing the -inizor to fall and the Earth to be return back to its original orbit. Afterwards, Monty places Rodney under arrest for his crimes against humanity and takes him into custody while Doofenshmirtz leaves peacefully after being thanked by Monogram (who gets his job back afterwards) for saving the Earth. ("Phineas and Ferb Save Summer")
Monty's father, who tends to brag about Monty to make other people feel bad (mostly Carl). Major Monogram wanted him to be an acrobat but Monty wanted to fight evil like his father. He was able to gain his father's approval by incorporating acrobatics into his fighting style. Monty is keeping his budding relationship with Vanessa hidden from his father.
Monty has met Perry at least twice. They don't interact much, but they seem to be on good terms. Perry has helped Monty and Vanessa hide their relationship from their fathers.
Carl seems to be somewhat jealous of Monty's relationship with Major Monogram. He does keep Monty's relationship with Vanessa secret from his superior, but states that Monty owes him big-time. ("My Sweet Ride") Monty helps Carl to get Major Monogram's attention while keeping his relationship with Vanessa a secret. ("Thanks But No Thanks") When Monty finds out his father was fired and Carl was promoted he helps him out by telling him to act like a real leader and what he should do. ("Phineas and Ferb Save Summer")
