The Third Season of Phineas and Ferb had been renewed and confirmed by Jeff "Swampy" Marsh and Dan Povenmire in several interviews ^[1][2]. News of this began appearing on June 7th of 2009, and a press release was issued two days later on June 9th confirming it.^[3]

The season started with "The Great Indoors" and "Canderemy" on March 4, 2011 on Disney Channel US and on March 5, 2011 for Disney XD US.

Known episode plots for Season 3 include "Meapless in Seattle" and a movie special entitled "Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension", as well as an episode guest starring Tina Fey and Jane Lynch ("Run, Candace, Run"), and Halloween episodes ("That's the Spirit" and "The Curse of Candace")

The season is set to close with an upcoming cliffhanger episode known as "World Without a Platypus Part 1".

Title sequence changes from Season 2Edit

The title sequence remains the same, but images from "Phineas and Ferb Summer Belongs to You!", "Ain't No Kiddie Ride", "Spa Day", "Tip of the Day", "Wizard of Odd", "Hide and Seek", "The Baljeatles", and "Atlantis" replace the ones from Season 1. The Halloween special shows the title sequence and remains the same, but uses images from "The Monster of Phineas-n-Ferbenstein", "One Good Scare Ought to Do It!" and the Original Pitch.

The calendar's June and the nano bots' "Hello" are both in Spanish in the Latin American version.
