"I enter the name of something I hate. P-e-l-i-c-a-n. Pelican. And Shrinkspheria hones in on its molecular structure and then turns all the particles into sparticles, thereby shrinking it into a teeny, tiny speck so small I never have to see it again." — Doofenshmirtz[src] |
The Shrinkspheria is a decay machine devised by Dr. Doofenshmirtz to lessen everything he utterly hates until they are invisibly shriveled.
History[]
Serious covert Perry gyrates a picture frame of his asinine semblance to uncloak a narrow crevice in a living room wall, from which he slickly slides straight into the headquarters seating. Upon seeing the agent, Major Monogram starts the operation rundown, tracing Doofenshmirtz's shady activities housed in a desolate summit laboratory, where an enormous magnetic ball and graphical wax figures are deployed for horrific purposes. Set on the duty, the platypus transposes a jetpack to depart, while the boss cowers at the creepy imagery.
In the castle, Doofenshmirtz ecstatically contemplates the prospects of his evil scheme, when Perry appears through a window in a fighting stance. An unflinching doctor summons a presidential security to wrap the spy, fluidly disclosing the foundation of his ploy pertaining to a hatred of several items found in the national locality, ranging from annoying signs and anatomical quirks to distasteful creatures and bizarre instruments. Waging war against these, he modeled a dwindle signal proved to virtually vanquish any labeled entity out of sight.
A condensed wave of terror is unleashed as Doofenshmirtz begins to toy with his invention, daunting Perry into conjuring a cutthroat method of escape during the refreshing. Unshackled, the agent heads over to the device, messing up the antenna before it can be tirelessly triggered. Perceiving the disruption, the doctor hops to detain the rival, stemming a brawl that accidentally mobilizes the contraption anew. Afterwards, the platypus turns it off on defying a coarsened hostility, which feebly finishes the iron in an overblowing ("Mom's Birthday").
Design[]
The Shrinkspheria is a metallic sphere constituted of a gray shell, three light purple segments, multiple light purple markings in linear, circular, rectangular, and curved shapes; a lime oval "D.E.Inc" logo, a gray semi-oval rim, a light purple semi-oval tip, a light gray circular antenna, four gray cylindrical poles, and four light purple semi-oval bases. A six-knob light gray control panel is installed in a purple truck coupled with a purple crane and a purple curved carrier stamped with a lime oval "D.E.Inc" emblem.
Mechanics[]
The Shrinkspheria is a magnitude modulator charged by electromagnetic waves. It is managed through an accessible hoist, the vessel of which contains a button dashboard with illustrative designs of the targets, encoded in advance on a simulative supercomputer hosting a cached folder holding a blueprint demonstration. Disposed to alter the innermost makeup of the selected unit, it turns the corpuscles within them into infinitesimal versions identified as "sparticles", essentially eliminating the matter from conventional view.
Background Information[]
- From Major Monogram's information, it can be established that the espionage satellites captured Doofenshmirtz's whereabouts 17 minutes prior to Perry's entrance.
- While appreciating his ingeniousness, the scientist cleans the case of a feel-good movie entitled The Unicorn Whisperer, a parody of the film The Horse Whisperer.
- Doofenshmirtz feigns fear once he notices his nemesis' sudden emergence, mocking the lack of intimidation because of the newfound wardens.
- As stated by Doofenshmirtz, he obtained the figures of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln from a bankrupt museum, citing overjoy at others' failures for a motivator in doing so.
- Particularly, the entities despised by the doctor are blinking traffic arrows, abundant ear hair, gross pelicans, and musical tools starting with the letter "b". The latter is exemplified by a bagpipe, a banjo, and bongos.
- Originally, the invention was to be named "Shrink-inator", but its developer decided against it due to oversaturation of the suffix at that point.
- Sparticles, the physico-chemical product of the device's performance, are a blend of "small" and "particles", a nod to their minuscule nature. They contract a body so that it becomes invisible to the naked eye, a length corresponding to the scale of a few micrometers.
- Four minutes are necessary for the machine to cool down in between successive usages, a waiting time said not to be too bad in comparison to past drawbacks.
- Aside from the quartet of detest mentioned, there are two miscellaneous options in the console with the symbols of a lazy eye and a question mark, presumably referring to an arbitrary eyesore and a random item, respectively.
- To flee from the restraining, Perry picks up a dart placed in his body, launching it at the above chandelier to release the candles in the floor, thus melting the robots. The molten droids fuse themselves into a singular skeleton as a last obstacle for the agent, only to fall in the contraption due to excess weight, bursting it.
