Why is this not paired with another episode?[]

I'm almost certain this is the first ten-minute episode to stand alone... I was really anticipating the second half, but the new Fish Hooks was broadcasted instead. Anyone aware of why?

Thank you! Alycia 01:18, August 13, 2011 (UTC) :-)

Maybe due to the release of the movie, they decide to release just one episode and cut it into 2 for this month August. They haven't done this since Season 1, and we'll have to wait for the second one two weeks from now. Patrickau 26 01:24, August 13, 2011 (UTC)
Both this as well as "Skiddley Whiffers" are going to be broadcast alone as opposed to in 30 minutes. The best hypotheses I have for this are:
  1. Disney is using the already-proven Phineas and Ferb as a lead-in to Fish Hooks in order to boost its ratings/success/what have you.
  2. Disney is trying to conserve the remaining Phineas and Ferb episodes they have due to the fact (as the Animation Guild recently reported) that the show has not been picked up for a fourth season and production has stopped until they do.
  3. Both 1 and 2.
We will have to see if this continues throughout September and the months to come or if this is just a brief change.Yer pal, Mobo85 01:36, August 13, 2011 (UTC)
WAIT? IS THAT ANIMATION GUILD THING TRUE? Everything's Better With Perry 01:42, August 13, 2011 (UTC)
Oh, well thank you very much for the information! :-) Certainly makes sense. If the first theory is true, however, I can't quite say I agree with Disney's choice. As a viewer, it makes me want to give Fish Hooks *less* of a chance (especially when it's impeding upon what could be another Phineas and Ferb episode). As for the second theory, that still has me greatly confused. Why would Disney promote Phin and Ferb so highly, to the point where it's now a franchise, only to not offer Dan and Swampy a fourth season? Speaking on business grounds, it doesn't add up. They would be abruptly ending a chance for huge monetary gain. Alycia 01:51, August 13, 2011 (UTC)

references[]

One of the references talks about a video on YouTube, I saw it to make sure it was true and although it does sound similar to "Bust in the Bag" I found it way out of PG-G content, it is a song that could be rated R if songs would be rated, should such reference be kept. It's some mysterious force! Whatever they build every day gets taken away! 00:46, November 14, 2011 (UTC)
