The Television Critics Association, which, as the name suggests, is an association comprised of over 200 journalists who cover television by trade, have announced the nominations for their annual TCA Awards, which are held at their Summer Press Tour. For the first time, Phineas and Ferb has been nominated in the category of Outstanding Achievement in Youth Programming, alongside iCarly, Phineas and Ferb, Switched at Birth, and Yo Gabba Gabba! It's nice to see the TV professionals recognize the humor and quality of a series which is primarily targeted towards children, a quality which we know quite well. The winners of the awards will announced during the TCA Summer Press Tour on July 28. Full list of nominees can be seen here, and more information about the TCA can be found on their website. Congratulations to the Phineas and Ferb team on their nomination, and best of luck to them.
