Having dug out from beneath the ice cubes up here in Wisconsin, it's time to get back to what we do best. And that is Volume 48 of The Numbers Game, the blog that breaks down the numbers of our favorite show.
Phineas and Ferb's first new episode of 2013 was "Fly On the Wall", airing on Friday, January 11. 3.389 million viewers flew into their living rooms to see it, a 9 percent decline from the season premiere last month. It topped new episodes of A.N.T. Farm, Jessie and Fish Hooks to lead Disney Channel for the night, but was unable to crack the Cable Top 25, missing by less than 100,000 viewers.
Unfortunately, Cynopsis switched their Kids edition to a weekly format, and has decided to stop posting the age group Top 10 tables. The Numbers Game thanks them for their unknowing service the last couple of years. However, we do know that this episode performed strongly in its target age groups, weathering a 12 percent decrease to rank No. 2 for the week among Kids 6-11. In Tweens 9-14, it checked in at No. 5 behind an 11 percent decline. Finally, among Adults 18-49, viewership fell by 18 percent, dropping a point to a 0.5 rating.
If you know of any other locations online where the kids demographics tables are posted, please let me know in the comments. The Numbers Game should return later this weekend with coverage of last week's "Bully Bust". Until then, stay warm, follow @RyanStoppable on Twitter, and remember...that the numbers never lie.
